What is the working principle of the yaw system of a wind turbine? Here is an introduction:
In order to ensure that the blade rotor of the wind turbine always works in a certain direction, a yaw system is installed inside the wind turbine. The precision wind measuring instrument transmits the detection signal to the software of the computer, and after analysis, drives the motor and gearbox of the yaw system to minimize wind energy loss and increase effective working time of the wind turbine.
The rotation direction of the yaw brake engine room should be in accordance with the instruction direction. When the yaw motor rotates, the hydraulic brake system is in a released state. When the yaw motor stops rotating, the hydraulic brake system is in a braking state, fixing the main engine room in the corresponding position.
The yaw system includes a cable anti winding detector to prevent damage to the internal cables caused by winding when the main engine room rotates according to the wind direction. If the cable is tangled, during the next rotation of the host room, the host room will rotate in the opposite direction according to the situation of the cable winding, causing the tangled cable to return to its original position.
The driving part of the yaw drive yaw system consists of three AC motors and a planetary gearbox. The yaw drive component is installed below the main engine tray, with a transitional small gear connected between the yaw bearing outer gear ring and the fixed gear ring on the tower body.
