The wind turbine controller is a precision device that requires the following precautions during transportation:
1、 Packaging aspect
Internal buffering
The controller shall be wrapped with high-quality cushioning materials, such as foam plastic, air cushion film, etc. For sensitive components of the controller, such as circuit boards, chips, etc., it is necessary to ensure that the buffer material is tightly adhered to prevent damage due to vibration during transportation. For example, place the circuit board in the customized foam groove, so that all parts of the circuit board can be well supported.
External protection
Use sturdy outer packaging boxes, usually made of wood or high-strength plastic materials. Wooden boxes should ensure sufficient thickness and strength, while plastic boxes should have good sufficient thickness. The surface of the box should be marked with words such as “Precision Instrument, Handle with Care”, and labeled with fragile and moisture-proof labels according to relevant standards. At the same time, the box should be sealed to prevent dust, moisture, and other substances from entering.
Accessory packaging
For the accessories of the controller, such as connecting wires, sensors, etc., they should also be separately packaged. Small plastic packaging bags or paper boxes can be used to classify and package the accessories, and then put them into the main packaging box. Special compartments or small compartments should be set up inside the main packaging box to store the accessories and avoid collision with the controller body.
2、 Requirements for transportation environment
temperature control
Wind turbine controllers typically have certain temperature requirements. During transportation, it is important to avoid exposing the controller to extreme temperature environments. The ideal transportation temperature range is generally between -20 ℃ and 60 ℃. If transported in a cold environment, appropriate insulation measures should be taken, such as wrapping the packaging box with insulation materials; In high temperature environments, it is necessary to prevent direct sunlight and use sunshades or other methods to block sunlight.
humidity control
The relative humidity of the transportation environment should be maintained within an appropriate range, generally recommended between 30% and 70%. High humidity may cause moisture inside the controller, leading to faults such as short circuits; Low humidity may generate static electricity, causing damage to electronic components. If the transportation route passes through areas with high humidity, such as coastal areas or rainy areas, desiccants can be placed in packaging boxes to absorb excess moisture.
Avoid vibration and impact
During transportation, efforts should be made to minimize vibration and impact. For land transportation, choose routes with good road conditions and use transport vehicles with good shock absorption performance. If it is transported by railway, it is necessary to ensure that the goods are firmly fixed and place cushioning pads inside the carriage. For air transportation, specialized aviation containers should be used and shockproof prevention measures should be taken, as the aircraft will generate significant acceleration and vibration during takeoff, landing, and flight.
3、 Fixing and handling during transportation
Fixed method
The packaging box of the controller should be securely fixed inside the transportation vehicle (such as a vehicle, airplane, etc.). The packaging box can be fixed in the cargo compartment of the transportation vehicle using ropes, straps, etc., to prevent the packaging box from moving or tipping over during transportation due to vehicle shaking, braking, or bumps. When fixing, be careful not to tighten the ropes or straps too tightly to avoid damaging the packaging box.
Handling requirements
The handling personnel need to undergo professional training to understand the characteristics of the controller. During the transportation process, suitable handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, etc. should be used. For small controllers, manual handling requires the cooperation of two or more people, lifting and placing them gently to avoid tilting or falling of the controller due to uneven force during single person handling. During the loading and unloading process, it is necessary to ensure the stability of the loading and unloading platform and prevent the packaging boxes from being bumped during the loading and unloading process.
